Dr. Marta Davidovich
"Who you are is creative. What is the future you are imagining? Marta D. Ockuly. Ph.D.
I am a humanistic psychologist with a specialization in the lived experience of human creativity across the lifespan. My background includes 20 years as an award-winning advertising professional serving billion dollar corporations. I left that world to launch a nature-based Center for Creative Change designed to be a safe, sacred space to build adult creative confidence and competence with joy. After 7 years, I moved to Florida. A major event occurred that led me to discover humanistic psychology. From 2010-2019 I completed a Master of Science in Teaching for Creativity and a PhD focused on brining forward the first dynamic, descriptive, and actionable definition of human creativity. It states: "Creativity is the person-centered process of imagining possibilities and taking embodied expressive action to make your ideas real"(Ockuly, 2019). This definition was chosen for use with United Nation's sanctioned World Creativity and Innovation Day, April 21. I am founder and C.E.O. (Chief Encouragement Officer) of the Creative Potential Institute, a human creativity and imagination think tank that offers custom training programs plus individual consulting and coaching.
